As a two dimensional artist each of us strives to create a three dimensional vision of our imagination. Whether we are self-taught or have endured the educational process, long years of practical application and personal commitment was required.

In the Field of Art it is not enough to find our own style and technique. Today's business environment demands we show others we are here to stay, demonstrate our ability to sustain a Presence.

There are many avenues of accomplishment that characterizes that type of commitment. Considered the most important expression of that presence is the Competition, Exhibition, and the One Person Show. All which are added to our Portfolio, a required element, which is our diary of successful accomplishment.

Each new addition to the artist’s Portfolio gives strength to that character, commitment, and presence. For the serious artist the Portfolio is the most important reference of our Credentials. Equally said, your Credentials are the keys that open the doors that house those who maintain the business of art. In addition our persistent efforts and quality of standards demand the attention of serious Investors and Collectors of Art.

At artCompete our goal is to provide an affordable and competitive platform for those artists who work to improve their skills and craftsmanship. For those who enter the competition and win, artCompete gives the Artist and their Work(s) of Art support as a Online Exhibition. As a potential winner and placeholder of that Online Exhibition you Advertise to the rest of the World your Presence in the Field of Fine Art.

About the Awards

Three titled awards Best of Show, Second Place, and Third Place are awarded to those selected as one of the three top winners of an artCompete competition. Each of those three award winners will receive a cash prize and each a separate Web Page(s) featuring your winning Work(s) of Art. In addition, as many as ten Honorable Mentions will also be selected and all those winners featured on a single Web Page.

After the Exhibition has concluded your Web page will be moved to the (Past Exhibitions Web Page) and remain there for another six months. After that time has expired selected information, less graphics, will be moved to the Archives Web Page.
